Before We Get Started…

Can You Say Yes to These 6 Questions?

Is your child diagnosed with autism?

Z

Is your child under 6 and beginning kindergarten in more than 9 months?

Z

Do you have a written order for IBHS that is less than 9 months old? (The written order may be for any type of service, including individual, group, ABA-individual or ABA-group)

Z

Is your child enrolled in Medicaid / Medical Assistance (MA) or have you applied for MA?

Z

Are you able to arrange transportation to and from the clinic for therapy appointments or does your child have an IEP through Pittsburgh Public Schools?

Z

Do you live in Allegheny County? (if not, there are a few circumstances where we still can help.

If you answered yes to all six questions, please complete the following steps:

  1. Email autism evaluation and IBHS written order to info@keystoneaba.com or fax to (412) 643-2733
  2. Complete intake packet

Following a review of your child’s information and after confirming a prospective start date, we will contact you to schedule a tour.  We only begin intake assessments once we have confirmed that we can start with direct therapy as soon as the authorization is received.

Our Intake Process

At Keystone ABA, we’re committed to making your journey toward effective, compassionate ABA therapy as seamless as possible. We understand that taking the first step can feel overwhelming, which is why our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Here’s what you can expect as we work together to begin services

Week 1 – Assessment appointments at clinic and home setting

Week 2 – Assessment appointments at community / school and clinic

Week 3 – Meeting to review assessment findings and schedule recommendations; assessment appointment to determine baseline for treatment plan goals

Week 4 – Meeting to review and sign treatment plan

Week 5 – Submit completed documentation to doctor who prescribed IBHS for approval

Week 6 – Submit completed information to insurance company for authorization

Week 7 – Begin therapy schedule
